A.R.C
A.R.C. aims to replace harmful single-use plastic pots with an innovative, biodegradable material called mycelium combined with organic compost.
The mycelium and compost plant pot does not harm the environment in its creation process but, once planted, leaves a CO2 neutral footprint. A.R.C. renovates our ways of buying, gardening, and appreciating plant pots with its authentic layered aesthetics. The mycelium mixture provides plants with a rich compost and nutrient base for the plant that would otherwise have to be purchased in plastic containers. Though it is biodegradable, it surprisingly withstands cold and heat conditions, not impacting its vanish, leaving time for transportation and final aesthetic appreciation. The material itself traces back to one of life's longest inhabitant of over billions of years - fungi. The organism is durable, strong and more essentially the material cycles back to nature. This kind of proposal of mycelium and compost seen in a plant pot is yet not on the market and A.R.C., believe it is about time.
