For our Programming for Designer's class. We took on the softwear Processing. The exercise was an exploration of the notion of pseudo-randomness, a debated concept regarding the complex and seemingly immeasurable series of parameters that affect an event. This first exploration of randomness relies of code to simulate this organic behaviour through organized patterns and logical steps. Code is the best medium, because achieving the same results in an analogue manner, while not impossible, is time consuming, often biased and not as surprising. We were encouraged to find and play with the "nature" within code.
